Dr. Susan graduated from the UAB School of Optometry in 2001.  She also received her Master's in Vision Science from UAB in 2001.  She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Montevallo, where she majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry.  She purchased Hartselle Eye Care in 2001. 

She is married to Sean, a retired police officer, and has one son, Coleton, a forestry major.

Melissa joined our team in 2020.  Melissa is in charge of our billing and insurance department.  She enjoys spending time with her three children, her parents, watching Alabama football, and taking care of her furry family. 

Jana joined the Hartselle Eyecare team in 2015.  Jana is our Head Optician. Jana is married and has four wonderful kids.  When she is not at the office she enjoys spending time with her family and crafting. 

Christy started at Hartselle Eyecare in 2017 and is an Optician at our office.  Christy enjoys watching Alabama football with her husband and playing with her grandbaby.

Jackson is the Ophthalmic Technician at Hartselle Eyecare.  Jackson has been on staff since 2011.  Jackson enjoys hiking, traveling, and watching the Atlanta Braves.

You will see Tonya at our front desk checking you in.  Tonya has been with us since 2022.  Tonya enjoys painting, doing interior design, and spending time at the beach. 

Melisa has been with us since 2022 and works the front desk.  Melisa enjoys being a Grandma, spending time with her family, and Alabama football.
